ZWeddings.com is published by JAK Publications, Inc. JAK also publishes Your Wedding & Event Book, The Treasure Valley's Premiere Resource Guide & Event Planner and the latest local wedding magazine titled ZWeddings - Idaho's Bridal Magazine.

The goal of JAK Publications, Inc. is to provide area brides with the best resources available to plan their special day and o provide local businesses with the most cost effective marketing tool to grow their business.

Julie Malagon, Owner

Julie began developing "Your Wedding & Event Book, The Treasure Valley's Premiere Resource Guide & Event Planner" after planning her own wedding in 1999. ZWeddings.com was launched in 2001, as the online version of her print guide. After spending countless hours planning her own wedding, she was determined to create a simpler approach to the wedding planning process. Her desire was to create a print and online guide that catered to today's busy bride.

In January of 2002, Julie co-produced A Bridal Extravaganza, The Treasure Valley's Premiere Wedding Show. Now in its 9th year, it is the largest show in Boise. Over the past nine years, Julie has gained great insight on how to most effectively market to local brides and is able to offer local business a cost effective way of advertising. She has experienced first hand the challenges of starting a new and prosperous business. She contributes much of her success to the fact that she has maintained her focus of incorporating local businesses in everything she does. "Brides love coming to our site because we provide LOCAL information, from LOCAL professionals. National sites do not have the local feel that our site has. Bride's love looking at beautiful wedding pictures, from LOCAL photographers, and are more able to build an emotional attachment to our site because of the LOCAL content from our consultants".
In December of 2007, Julie published ZWeddings, Idaho's Bridal Magazine. Look for the next issue to be released in December of 2009.
